NEWS - UPDATE

Our July Ladder has been reset so all players have the same chance as everyone to try and reach the top of the ladder over the next 28 days. Apologies to anyone who had already started a new ladder game in July and posted their results. There was a delay in resetting the ladder due to a very busy weekend. Good luck everyone!

The tournament is well under way now and despite the game being down over the last few hours we are confident this will not delay the tournament too much. I hope you are all enjoying the challenge.

We now have a new moderator joining Sue B on this forum and officer on the ladder; I would like you all to welcome Mark G, who will be here and on the ladder site to help you with any problems or queries you might have.

On July the 14th and 15th I will be away for the weekend. Finally, after 30 years since my last visit, I am going to Farnborough International Airshow YEAAAAAAA! For anyone who doesn't know I'm an airshow fanatic. I should have gone to Paris last year but never made it so had to wait until it came here this year.

Anyway, sorry I got carried away there. During that weekend Sue and Mark will be here (hopefully) to keep you all updated with the tournament and ladder.

Okay! So let's see if we can liven things up here and on the ladder. Throughout the whole of July as from today, I am offering an extra 25 ELO points on the ladder to anyone who joins in on an existing post or new topic in the Games section and a whopping 50 ELO points for creating a new topic anywhere on the forum.

As I'm feeling so generous As from today until the end of July I am offer a humongous 100 ELO points to anyone who invites a fellow scrabble player to join this forum and the ladder, and introduces themselves here.

Is the weather getting you down? Post some jokes in the general chit chat section. If it contains content unsuitable for young eyes please add a warning in the topic title, as some members may have young children sitting next to them while viewing the forum.

Do you have some news you would like to share? Start a new topic either on general scrabble talk if scrabble related or general chit chat if not and share your news with us all.
